2021: The United States is the largest individual market of Tesla followed by China. It generated $23,973 million from the United States market in 2021 compared to $15,207 million in 2020. Its revenue from the Chinese market also grew more than double compared to 2020. The company experienced a growth of 71% in its total net revenues in 2021 compared to the previous year.

2020: Tesla Motors net revenues from the United States market reached $15,207 million in 2020 compared to $12,653 million in 2019.

2019: Tesla Motors revenue from the United States market declined in 2019 compared to the previous year. Its net revenue from the US came down to $12.7 billion in 2019 from $14.9 billion in 2018.

2018: Tesla Motors revenue from the United States market more than doubled in 2018 compared to 2017. Its revenue from the US increased to $14.9 billion in 2018 from $6.2 billion in 2017.  Automobile sales of Tesla Motors grew sharply in 2018 and have continued to climb in 2019.
