2021: Starbucks experienced a significant growth in its net revenues in 2021 compared to the previous year. The net revenues of the coffee brand were 23.6% higher in 2021 compared to the previous year. In 2021, Starbucks generated $29.06 billion in net revenues compared to $23.52 billion in 2020.

In 2020, the net revenues of Starbucks fell by around $3 billion compafred to the previous year. Its net revenues for 2020 equalled $23.5 billion compared to $26.5 billion in 2019.

The company generated $19.16 billion in net revenues from company operated stores in 2020 compared to $21.54 billion in 2019.

Its net revenues from the licensed stores in 2020 was $2.33 billion compared to $2.9 billion in 2019.

In FY 2020, revenue from the company-operated stores accounted for around 81% of the brand’s entire revenue. Starbucks offers products in three segments: Beverages, Food, and Others.

The US is the largest market for Starbucks, with the highest number of stores and accounting for the largest part of its revenue followed by China. The other significant markets of Starbucks include Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom.

The company has divided its business operations into two main geographical segments that include the Americas and International.
