In 2018, Nike’s revenue rose to 36.4 Billion dollars from 34.4 Billion dollars the past year. Nike’s revenue had grown steadily over years from 2000 to 2017. Except for a small decline in 2010, the brand has grown consistently and its revenue too. After a decline in 2010 from the previous year, the revenue of Nike rose again in 2011 and the trend has continued since then.

             About Nike:

Nike is an international brand of athletic footwear, sports apparel, accessories and equipment. Its product offerings are focused on six key categories – Running, NIKE Basketball, the Jordan Brand, Football (Soccer), Training and Sportswear. Apart from the Nike and Jordan brands, its wholly-owned subsidiaries include Cole Haan (luxury shoes, handbags, accessories and coats); Converse (athletic and lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories); Hurley (action sports and youth lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories); Nike Golf, and Umbro (a leading U.K. based football/soccer brand).  The number of Nike retail stores has reached 1182 out of which 392 are located inside US and 790 overseas. Each brand by Nike targets a distinct segment of consumers.
