2021: Google’s (parent company: Alphabet) advertising and promotinal expenses grew to $7.9 billion in 2021 from $5.4 billion in 2020. The search giant alsoenjoyed solid growth in its advertising and cloud revenues. Alphabet’s revenue for 2021 broke all previous records rising past $250 billion.

2019: The advertising and promotional expenses of Alphabet grew to $6.8 billion in 2019 from $6.4 billion in 2018. There was an increase of $402 million in the advertising and promotional expenses of Alphabet in 2019 compared to previous year.

2018: Advertising and Promotional expenses of Alphabet grew to 6.4 Billion US dollars in 2018 from 5.1 Billion US dollars in 2017. Total sales and marketing expenses of Alphabet grew to $10.5 Billion in 2018 from $9 Billion in 2017.
