2022: In 2022, the total net revenue of Starbucks grew by more than $3 billion compared to the prior year. In the first quarter of 2022, the total net revenue of Starbucks remained $8,050.4 million compared to $6,749.4 million in 2021. In the second quarter also the company experienced significant growth compared to the same quarter of the prior year. Starbucks generated $7,635.6 million in 2022 second quarter compared to $6,668 million in the same quarter of 2021.

Its third quarter revenue in 2022 was around $650 million higher than the revenue during the same quarter of the prior year. Starbucks generated $8,150.1 million in 2022 third quarter compared to $7,496.5 million in the same quarter of 2021. In the last quarter of 2022, the net revenue of Starbucks grew only slightly compared to the same quarter of the prior year. The company generated total $8,414.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to $8,146.7 million in the last quarter of 2021.

2021: Starbucks experienced a significant growth in its quarterly net revenues during the third and fourth quarters of 2021 compared to the previous year. Its net revenues in the fourth quarter of 2021 was $8.15 billion compared to $6.2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2020. The company generated $7.5 billion in the third quarter of 2021 compared to $4.2 billion in the third quarter of 2020. Total net revenues of Starbucks in 2021 jumped to $29.06 billion compared to $23.52 billion in 2020.

 During the first half of 2019, net revenues of Starbucks were $12,938.7 million compared to $12,105.5 million during the same period last year.

Starbucks is a leading coffee brand. It is a premium brand with an extensive global presence. The number of Starbucks stores has continued to increase every year. In 2018, the total number of Starbucks stores increased to 29,324 rising from 27,339. Out of the total stores, the number of stores operated by the company was equal to 15,341 and that of licensed stores was 13,983. In FY 2018, revenue from the company operated stores accounted for around 80% of the brand’s entire revenue.

Starbucks offers products in four segments: Beverages, Food, packaged and single-serve coffees, and teas as well as Others. The US is the primary market of Starbucks with the highest number of stores and accounts for the largest part of its revenue. Of the three major geographical market segments, the Americas are the largest market of Starbucks with the highest number of stores. The other two major geographical markets of Starbucks are EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, and Africa) and CAP (China and the Asia Pacific).
