2021: HP’s largest source of revenue are its notebook sales, followed by desktops. In 2021, while the desktop sales of the company fell compared to the previous year, its notebook sales picked up. The company generated $30.5 billion from notebook sales compared to $25.8 billion in 2020. Its revenues from desktop sales were $9.4 billion in 2021 compared to $9.8 billion in 2020. The company also experienced a decline in net revenues from the sales of workstations in 2021 compared to the previous year. It generated $1.67 billion in net revenues from the sales of workstations in 2021 compared to $1.82 billion in 2020.
2020: In 2020, HP experienced an increase in the net sales of notebooks but its sales of desktops declined. The company sold notebooks worth $25,766 million in 2020 compared to $22,928 million in the prior year. However, its desktop sales dropped to $9,806 million in 2020 compared to $12,046 million in 2019. The company also generated $1,816 million from the sales of workstations in 2020 compared to $2,389 million in 2019. HP’s revenue from the other sources in 2020 remained $1,609 million compared to $1,331 million in 2019. The company experienced a revenue growth of only $300 million in 2020 compared to the prior year. Its total net revenue for 2020 was $38,997 million compared to $38,694 million in 2019.
