Google Revenue

The chart above displays the revenue that Alphabet generated from the Google segment from 2010 to 2022. Google revenue includes the total revenue from Google services (including advertising) and Google Cloud. Alphabet also owns some other business. However, most of its revenue comes from the Google segment. In fiscal 2022, Google generated $279.8 billion in net revenue, while the total revenue of its parent company Alphabet was $232.84 billion or more than $25 billion higher compared to the prior year.

Alphabet is the parent compay of Google. Google segment is the main source of revenue for Alphabet and particularly advertising revenue of Google.

2021: In 2021, Alphabet, the parent company of Google generated $256,735 million from the Google segment, which includes advertising revenues of $209,497 million and cloud revenues of $19,206 million. Alphabet’s total net revenues grew to $257,637 million in 2021 compared to $182,527 million in 2020. In fiscal 2020, Alphabet’s revenues from Google segment were $181,694 million.

2019:

In 2019, the net revenue of Alphabet Inc from the google segment was $160.7 billion compared to $136.4 billion in 2018.

2018:

Google’s total revenue in 2018 grew to $136.4 Billions from $110.5 Billions in 2017.

2017: The revenue of Google has increased per year at a very fast rate. In 2017, it earned 109.65 Billion dollars in revenue which was around 20 Billion dollars higher than the previous year. In 2016 its revenue was 89.5 Billion dollars which was again around 15 billion dollars higher than 2015. In 2015 Google had earned 74.5 Billion dollars in revenue. Its main source of revenue is advertising.
