2022: Sam’s Club operates in 44 states in the U.S. and in Puerto Rico. Sam’s Club is a membership-only warehouse club that also operates Samsclub.com. In fiscal 2022 (ending January 31,2022), Walmart’s net sales from Sam’s club operations reached $73.6 billion compared to $63.9 billion in 2020. Sam’s club accounted for 13% of Walmart’s consolidated net sales in fiscal 2022 compared to 12% in the previous year. Walmart’s consolidated net revenue grew to $572,754 million in fiscal 2022 compared to $559,151 million in the previous fiscal.
In fiscal 2022, Sam’s club generated $6.9 billion from ecommerce compared to $5.3 billion in fy 2021 and $3.8 billion in 2020.
2021: In fiscal 2021, Sam’s club generated total $63.91 billion in net revenue for Walmart compared to $58.8 billion in the prior year. The total net revenue of Walmart in 2021 was $559.15 billion compared to $524 billion in 2020. Sam’s Club sales accounted or a little above 11% of the total net revenue of Walmart in 2021.
2020: In 2020, Sam’s Club experienced revenue growth of around $1 billion compared to the previous year. Sam’s Club generated $58.8 billion in net revenue in 2020 compared to $57.8 billion in 2019.

Sam’s club is a premium membership only warehouse club that offers two membership options for its customers. The plus membership comes for an annual fee of $100 and offers upto 16 add on memberships. The Club memberships come for $40 annual fee and allows upto 8 add on memberships. All the Sam’s club memebrships include a spouse/household card wthout any extra cost. There are several extra priviliges available for plus members including free shipping on majority of merchandise sold at Sam’s club as well as no minimum order size apart from heavy discounts on glasses and prescriptions.
Sam’s Club launched a single loyalty rewards currency called Sam’s Cash in fiscal 2023, which merges and replaces existing Cash Rewards for Plus members and Cash Back for Sam’s Club Mastercard holders. Members may redeem Sam’s Cash on purchases in the club and online, to pay for membership fees or for cash in clubs. Sam’s Cash does not expire and can be redeemed monthly.
