Facebook Monthly Active Users Asia Pacific

Facebook is a preeminent social media platform globally, boasting a monthly active user base that approaches 3 billion as of the first quarter of 2023. The platform was established by its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, in 2004. As of the end of 2022, Facebook’s total monthly active user base had reached 2.96 billion, and by the close of the first quarter of 2023, it had grown to 2.989 billion. 

  While the United States and Canada represent the largest geographical market segment for Facebook in terms of net revenue, the Asia Pacific region is the largest region based on the number of users. As of the end of 2022, Facebook’s monthly active user base in the Asia Pacific region was 1.312 billion, which increased to 1.324 billion by the end of the first quarter of 2023. In 2022, the top three sources of growth for Facebook were users based in India, Nigeria, and Vietnam.

At the end of 2019, the MAUs of Facebook in Asia Pacific were 1,038 million, which increased to 1,199 million by the end of 2020 and 1,278 million by the end of 2021.
