Walmart is operational internationally across 11 regions in the world. Its international sales had kept growing from 1997 to 2015. They remained the highest in 2014. The period between 2012 and 2015 saw great performance internationally. In 2014 and 2015, the revenue of the brand touched 136 billion dollars. The international sales of the brand took two big jumps in 2007 and 2012 of  18 and 16 billion dollars respectively. However, the international sales have declined after 2015 and in both 2016 and 2017 it has continued to reduce while the overall sales and revenue of Walmart have grown.
