Unilever also owns 13 Billion Euro brands and 13 of the top 50 brands of the world.  The company operates across four categories of which the largest is Personal Care, followed by Foods, Home Care and Refreshment. It invests a large sum in research and development as well as marketing each year. Its extensive global presence is a major advantage. The company generates around 58% of its revenue from the emerging markets.
