The number of Monthly Active users of Facebook has increased fast in the recent years. In 2012 Q3, the number of Monthly Active Users at Facebook had reached 1 Billion. The number of MAUs is now close to 2.2 Billion in first quarter of 2018. their number had reached 2 Billion in the second quarter of 2017 and has kept rising steadily. Facebook has been investing in marketing and marketing campaigns so as to grow its user base faster.
