The following table shows the revenue of Nike from sales of Converse products.

Converse is a wholly owned subsidiary brand of Nike. Its head quarters are Boston, Massachusetts.  Converse sells casual sneakers, apparel and accessories under the ‘Converse, Chuck Taylor, All Star, One Star, Star Chevron and Jack Purcell’ trademarks. Nike reports the operating results of its Converse brand on a stand-alone basis.

About Nike:

Nike is an international brand of athletic footwear, sports apparel, accessories and equipment. It sells products in six key categories – Running, NIKE Basketball, the Jordan Brand, Football (Soccer), Training and Sportswear. Apart from the Nike and Jordan brands, its wholly-owned subsidiaries include the following : –

  • Cole Haan (luxury shoes, handbags, accessories and coats);
  • Converse (athletic and lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories);
  • Hurley (action sports and youth lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories);
  • Nike Golf,
  • and Umbro (a leading U.K. based football/soccer brand).

Number of Nike retail stores 2018 – total 1,182 – 392 US and 790 international stores.

Each brand under Nike targets a distinct segment of consumers. Its Jordan brand sells athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories. Jordan products target baseball fans mainly.

Nike has outsourced most of its production to external suppliers. 124 footwear factories located in 13 countries produced Nike footwear in 2018.  328 apparel factories located in 37 countries supplied Nike retail stores in 2018.
