The following table shows the revenue of Lenovo by product segment from 2016 to 2018. Sums are in million US dollars.

Lenovo’s PCSD group is its largest reportable business segment that accounted for more than 70% of the company’s revenue for fiscal 2017-18. Lenovo’s revenue from each segment increased in 2017-18 except its Mobile Business Group. Its PCSD revenue was 32.4 Billion dollars in 2017-18. The Mobile Business Group Yielded a revenue of 7.2 Billion dollars during the same period.

About Lenovo:

Lenovo is a leading brand of desktop PCs, notebooks and smartphones. Last year, it was the largest brand of PCs based on the number of shipments as per reports published by IDC & Gartner. While Lenovo has maintained its leadership status in PCs and tablets, it is also working on growing its presence in emerging technologies. The CEO of Lenovo is Yang Yuanqing.  China is the largest market for Lenovo products accounting for around 25% of its entire revenue in 2017-18. Apart from China, the other three geographic segments of Lenovo are Americas (AG), Asia Pacific (AP) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). Its business is divided into three major reportable segments that include –

PC AND SMART DEVICE BUSINESS GROUP (PCSD), DATA CENTER BUSINESS GROUP (DCG) and MOBILE BUSINESS GROUP (MBG).

The PCSD group is the largest reportable segment accounting for more than 70% of Lenovo’s revenue for fiscal 2017-18.
