HP (Hewlett Packard Inc) Net Revenue

HP’s net revenue and net earnings declined in 2022 compared to the prior year. In 2022, HP generated $62,983 million in net revenue compared to $63,487 million in 2021. While its net revenue declined by almost 1 percent only, the net earnings of the company were half of the previous year.

2021: HP experienced a 12.1% growth in its net revenues in 2021 compared to 2020 driven mainly by growth in Notebooks, Supplies, Consumer and Commercial Printing. Its 2021 net revenues remained $63.5 billion compared to $56.64 billion in 2020. HP’s gross margin improved by 2.7 percentage points in 2021 compared to 2020.

The net revenue of Hewlett Packard Inc fell 3.6% in 2020 compared to the previous fiscal. Its net revenue in 2020 was $56.64 billion compared to $58.8 billion in 2019.

Hewlett Packard’s Net revenue rose to $58.5 Billions in 2018 from $52.1 Billions in 2017.

HP is  a leading provider of PC and other access devices, imaging and printing products, and related technologies, solutions and services. The brand has a large customer base globally. It sells to individual customers, SMEs, large enterprises, government customers as well as health and education sectors. Founded in 1939 by William R Hewlett and David Packard, HP was incorporated in 1947. In 2015, HP was divided into HP and HPE or Hewlett Packard Enterprises. After the separation Hewlett Packard company changed its name to HP Inc. The brand has achieved some serious growth since it separated from HPE. Having overtaken Lenovo, HP has become the biggest PC maker of the world. In 2016, the brand acquired the printing business by Samsung which has also helped it gain momentum. However, given the decline experienced by the PC and printing businesses in the recent years, HP has acquired some impressive strength.
