Apple set a new all-time revenue record in the first quarter of 2022, when its net revenues jumped to $123.9 billion or 11 percent higher than the first quarter of the previous year. Its net revenues in the first quarter of 2021 was $111,439 million. The total revenue of the company increased to $394.33 billion in 2022 compared to $365.82 billion in 2021. Apple’s iPhone revenue crossed $200 billion in 2022.
Apple’s revenues increased from both products and services in the first quarter of 2022 compared to first quarter of the last year. Apple revenues from products remained $104,429 million in 2022 q1 compared to $95,678 million in 2021 q1. Services revenues of the company increased to $19,516 million in the first quarter of 2022 compared to $15,761 million in the first quarter of 2021.

EPS (earnings per share diluted) increased to $2.10 in 2022 q1, compared to $1.68 in 2021 q1. The company posted impressive sales growth across the Americas, Europe and Greater China. However, net sales of the company in the first quarter of 2022 declined in Japan compared to the same quarter of last year by $1,178 million. iPhone sales of the company increased by more than $6 billion in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the previous year’s first quarter. Apart from the net sales of iPad, the company experienced growth in revenues from all other products lines compared to an year ago period. iPhone sales of the company amounted to $71,628 million in 2022 q1 compared to $65,597 million in 2021 q1.
