The chart above shows the quarterly net sales of Apple for each geographic region for 2020 to 2023 in USD billions. Apple’s net sales for the first two quarters of 2023 have remained lower compared to the same quarters of the prior year. Its net sales in the Americas for the first quarter of 2023 was more than $2 billion less compared to the same quarter of 2022. In the second quarter, the difference grew to more than $3 billion in the Americas. In the European markets, its sales declined by more than $2 billion in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same quarter last year but again increased slightly in the second quarter. Sales declined across other geographical areas also during the first quarter of 2023 compared to Q1 2022.
